Twenty TUI tour agents took part in the Kuba Erleben 2007 fam trip (The Cuban Experience) during September 6-14. On this occasion, the event was also attended by the six winners of last year's edition of Kuba Erleben and by members of the TUI Sales Management Division from Stuggart, Germany. One of the most outstanding activities on Kuba Erleben´s agenda was the visit to the company's new products Paradisus Princesa del Mar and Meliá Las Antillas, which recently commenced operating in Varadero, and a tour of the three hotels managed by the group in Cayo Santa Maria, particularly Meliá Las Dunas opened last December.
Visitors were able to see two of the added values of this key off the north-eastern coast of Villa Clara province: the Yhi Spa Aguas Claras, located at Meliá Cayo Santa Maria and Villa Zaida del Rio, an ultra all-inclusive villa in Cayo Santa Maria.
Kuba Erleben 2007 enabled TUI travel agents to live their own emotional and sensory experience of Cuba through the magic of the different Sol Meliá hotel brands and tourist products.
Following Kuba Erleben 2006, the number of stays at Sol Meliá Cuba hotels and resorts by TUI clients grew by 6% while revenues due to room and board increased by 17%.
As in previous editions, Kuba Erleben 2007 supplied a new content to the practice of specialized certifications of Sol Meliá Cuba products for travel agents.
